Seventy white pigeons as the symbol of seventieth anniversary of establishing the “United Nation Organization” and “ United Nation Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization” (UNESCO) in the presence of manager and regional representative of this organization and some of intellectuals, science and culture lover, pioneers of environment and citizenship rights flew from glorious building of history and civilization.
In this ceremony, Mohammad Reza Gol Hamisheh Bahar as secretary of summit expressed hope that in the early days of the eighth century of establishing the UNESCO all people has a world full of friendship with peace and justice ahead.
He noted that Iranian have been always the birth of culture and civilization origin in all eras from the beginning till now; and Shiraz as the extract of this old land and manifestation of poetry, consciousness, culture and philosophy, can send the message of peace, friendship, justice and freedom to all the world so that this humanism ideal not to be forgotten.
Head of the Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection stated that the first human rights laws were enforced by Iranian to all the world; and according to Allameh Tabatabaei the name of this right creator means Cyrus the Great with the name of Zolqarnein has come in the divine book of Muslims that we, as Iranian are proud to it.
He called Iranian as the symbol of altruism and justice and said: “this nation with a shiny history is waiting for Imam Zaman; and believes that his appearance depends on preparing the context of justice and altruism and love.
Allah almighty and the holy messengers, have invited all the human to justice and altruism; and Iranian based on their rich culture throughout the history have attempted to extend the right, justice and truth. Now in this line all the people in the world are invited to equality, brotherhood, peace, friendship and negotiation away from violence and extremism and prejudice.
Secretary General of Pars Association of Environmental Friends added:” If we look at the environment as a context for human life it can be as a common point for negation and understanding of all nations and governments.”
He said: “the literature of every nation shows the thoughts and beliefs of that nation.” He added: “in this regard, the intellectuals of Persian poetry and culture have provided thought and the origins of this great people to all the world.”
Sa’di perfected the altruism and equality and said in this regard:
The children of humanity are each other’s limbs”
“That shares an origin in their creator”
“When one limb passes its days in pain”
“The other limbs cannot remain easy”
And Hafiz believed that the comfort of two-universes is in the interpretation of these two expressions:
“Generosity for friends and tolerance for enemies”
Maulana the great in this regard has said:
For God sake, or for your convenience, have a good behavior with the people; so that see friendship all the time and do not feel inconvenience in your heart.
Iranian demands and beliefs regarding peace and friendship can be seen in the poetries of Hafiz and Maulana and the other intellectuals of this ancient land. It can be said explicitly that all these quotations are universal and are away from bigotry and superficiality, and all recommend to the good characters such as forgiveness, tolerance, kindness, ambition that all can be as the underlie of peace and reconciliation.
Mohammad Reza Hamishe Bahar said at the end that we hope the comming days would be a time of peace and friendship for all people of world.
Esther Kouish Laroush as manager and UNESCO regional representative also wished for all humanity in the world peace and friendship. At the end of this ceremony, he planted an olive sapling in the Aghaamir’s human rights cottage as a symbol of peace, friendship and hope for justice and equality.
