Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection
The Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection is a non-political and non-profit NGO established in May 2003 through organizing the committee for compiling the articles of association and completed it after about two years by participating in specialized working and expert groups and through observing all rules and regulations and according to the approval of bylaws of the related field. After receiving the establishment license, the Association took actions to register it officially and began its activities at the national level in March 2006 at Shiraz, Fars Province.
The Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection is active with the hope of achieving social justice, cultural growth and excellence, literature and extensive natural and human capital, and achieve greater legitimacy and ultimately a society based on respect for human values.
The Association works through believing in the collective wisdom and collaborative work with this message (of the People, by the People, for the People) to develop and ultimately implement its plans.
Decisions are made democratically by vote of the members of the Association. They are, then, collected and referred to specialized commissions to be surveyed and declared to the board of directors to determine the date.
Resources of the Association are provided by cooperation and participation of the members is in the form of commissions and their programs. Their support is direct and indirect and is communicated to the Board of Directors. The association is specified to achieve human lofty goals and for growth and development goals and to keep pace with the Millennium Development Goals with other nations with the slogan ‘think globally, act regionally’ and seeks to share knowledge and enhance its communication with international institutions in various fields such as UPR, peace and negotiations of civilizations, education, science, culture, training, environment, health, children, women, economic and social advisory and sustainable development based on human and moral principles.
