Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection
At the special meeting of The Association of Citizens Civil Rights Protection and the Public City Services Commission, the environment and the health of Local Parliament of Shiraz were mentioned.
The use of social capital, collective wisdom and programs formulation according to the environmental criteria and sociological science and productivity increase, lead metropolises to be on the path of sustainable development.
During the discussion on topics of city services, environment and health, head of Citizens Civil Rights Protection dealt with the role of social capital noting that social capital is not money nor military power but is made of trust, and said “we expect officials of the urban area to plan and take appropriate measures to promote the social capital and the belief in the collective wisdom and practice it and take longer steps in the development and improvement of people’s status.”
Head of Citizens Civil Rights Protection considered the use of social capital, collective wisdom and programs formulation based on the environmental criteria and sociological science and productivity increase as the cause of the metropolises being on the path of sustainable development.
Mr. Mohammadreza Gol hamisheh bahar mentioned that the environmental issue was a holistic and multifaceted issue and said, “today, we need agreement in principle for implementation of the plans and it is also necessary to regard the environmental attachment in terms of the environmental assessment for some other plans and pay attentions to ecological track in plans and examine and calculate them in some conditions.”
Head of Citizens Civil Rights Protection said that “the use of update science is essential for greater efficiency and citizens’ achievement of city services, environment and health and, for this purpose, to apply knowledge of resiliency for plans and also for crisis management, as well as natural disasters and accidents, and officials should use scholars of sociology to better serve the citizens.” He also recommended to employ tech foresight professionals and valuation engineering for the future plans and projects.
